Ok so what is the Fatvine Network?
The Fatvine Network is a new hybrid network that leverages content audience and advertising to grow content audience and advertising so that everyone comes out ahead. As we expand, we are engaging with some very exciting partners and sites that want to gain more than simple advertising revenue.
How does it work?
Initially we focus on only on content and traffic. The Fatvine Network allows you to distribute your content and increase traffic to your site through
- A portal where you enter your content right from your browser
- Your own Facebook app customized to your site
- A Network widget to broadcast you content throughout the Network
And how do I get traffic?
We give you three tools to create your own distribution platform and grow traffic to your site

- Broadcast your articles to the Network after you add them to your blogs www.fatvine.com/network.
- Your own Facebook Mini-Zine customized to your site
- Now use the new facebook application to create your own Mini-Zine with your profile and branding — http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=13254481022 It should only take 30 seconds. Use your Fatvine Network sign on. Your mini-magazine will be updated when you add articles to http://www.fatvine.com/network
- A Network widget to broadcast you content throughout the Network
What revenue models do you offer?
Being a member of The Fatvine Network will do two things for you. It will grow your traffic and generate revenue from this larger base. The Fatvine Network ads you are able to display on your content pages can be either cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-1000-impression (CPM) ads. This means that advertisers pay either when users click on ads, or when the advertiser’s ad is shown on your site. You’ll receive a portion of the amount paid for either activity on your website. Although we don’t disclose the exact revenue share, our goal is to enable publishers to make as much or even more than they could with other advertising networks. Remember, we also focus on growing traffic within our network.
How much will I earn?
Monthly reports will show you traffic before you started the program and then monthly traffic after joining the Fatvine Network. You’ll also be able to see the total number of page and ad unit impressions, ad clicks, click-through rate, effective CPM, and your total earnings so you can get an idea of how well the program is performing for you and how much you can expect to earn over time in the program.
Is there a minimum contract length?
Every publisher joining the Fatvine Network is asked to commit to the network for one calendar year. You’ll place the Fatvine Network ad code on your ad spaces and display an Fatvine Network widget on your site.
Ok … what are the Fatvine Network join requirements?
Not just anyone can become part of the Fatvine Network, but if your application is accepted the Fatvine Network can help you generate advertising revenue and traffic from our Tier-1 partners. Some of the high-level requirements include:
- We focus on sites that cover Entertainment, Celebrities, Movies, Music, TV, Fashion, Beauty, Life, Health, Food, Relationships, Sport, News, Politics and Finance
- We prefer content to be updated frequently, if not daily.
- While there is no minimum traffic requirement, priority will be given to larger sites.
- There can be no pornographic or other unacceptable adult-themed material, including produced or member-generated adult images or text on your site.

What does ‘Fatvine’ stand for?
Think of big or ‘Fat’ pipe where data travels and a vine as in ‘I heard it through the grapevine’.
Who is Customerforce?
Customerforce is the technology provider and Fatvine™ is their software platform. They provide all the systems and tech support to make sure the ads are showing up on your site.
What are your payment terms?
Publisher payments are issued on or about the 30th day after the end of the month in which they were collected from the advertiser. This time frame may vary. It can be up to 90 days for some of the slower paying agencies. It is our responsibility to deal with collections from advertisers and agencies so that you are paid as quickly as possible.
Does the Fatvine Network have a minimum age requirement for participation?
Yes. You must be at least 18 years of age to join the Fatvine Network.
How long does it take to be approved to join the Fatvine Network?
Approval typically takes less than two weeks but we are experiencing significant demand and this may lengthen processing times.
Do I have to display Ads?
No. You can simply be a traffic partner by displaying the Fatvine Network Widget on your site. This will allow you to send and receive traffic from the Fatvine Network. You do have to publish content to join the Fatvine Network so e-commerce sites it is time to start that blog!
Is there a cost to join?
There is no cost to join the Fatvine Network.
Do you require exclusivity in your contracts?
No, but it is dependent on the category.
How do I sign up for the Fatvine Network and what are your terms?
